TrackPro Privacy Policy

What data do we collect?

TrackPro can be used anonymously. For anonymous users, we do not collect any data.

Account data

To create an account with TrackPro, we ask for your email address, or we may collect your email from Microsoft's Azure AD B2C authorization platform.

When logging calorie intakes or burns, TrackPro collect's your current time zone from your browser, to improve the user experience.

Fitness Profile data

You are given with the option to add to, or update your TrackPro Fitness Profile, including:

  • Your height
  • Your current weight
  • Your preferred unit of measurement (metric or imperial)
  • Your daily planned caloric intake or burn preferences

Any information you disclose to TrackPro is not shared broadly with the public.

Fitness Goal data

You can create a Fitness Goal with TrackPro, and this can include:

  • Your target weight
  • Your fitness program's target duration (in days)
  • Your preferred unit of measurement (metric or imperial)

Fitness Log data

You can log information with TrackPro, including:

  • A caloric intake event, which may include a weight change value, logged weight value, distance to fitness goal value, a timestamp, and your username
  • A caloric burn event, which may include a weight change value, logged weight value, distance to fitness goal value, a timestamp, and your username

Where is data stored?

The data is stored securely within Microsoft Azure, and geographically located within the United States of America.

What do we do with the data?

We use Account, Fitness Profile, Fitness Goal, and Fitness Log data to improve the user experience of TrackPro.

We are not a subsidiary of a larger corporation that can access your information.

Who do we share this data with?

We do not share information with third parties, beyond those required to serve you better. Otherwise, we do not share data unless required to by law or subpoena.

We use the following third-party providers to power the following processes:

We use Google Cloud to help improve the user experience of TrackPro.

Minor Safety

Upon setting up an account, you agree to the terms of service and the privacy policy, and consequently verify you are at least 16 years of age. Additionally, by using TrackPro, you verify that you meet this requirement. Furthermore, if you are under the age of 18, you verify that you have received permission from your parent or legal guardian before using TrackPro, and before sending personal information.

User data protection

Application Fitness treats user data privacy as a primary concern. For any personal data you choose to share with TrackPro over the internet, transmission is at your own risk. Once TrackPro has received your data transmission, industry standards follow for the prevention of unauthorized access.

All user data is secured in transit using TLS.

TrackPro uses Microsoft Azure for cloud computing services. This includes, but is not limited to, servers, databases, and persistent storage. User data is encrypted in transit (over the network) and at rest (nonvolatile storage), giving end-to-end encryption in Azure Cosmos DB.

We review modifications to the application code, and to the Azure infrastructure. This involves automated and manual efforts.

  • We monitor and make updates to the Azure and backend infrastructures to detect and prevent any potential attempts of unauthorized access.
  • How do I delete my data?

    You can delete your fitness data via the app. Restarting a Fitness Profile, deletes all Fitness Profile and Fitness Goal data. Restarting a Fitness Goal deletes all Fitness Goal data.

    If you'd like to delete all the information tied to your account, request to do so by emailing support@applicationfitness.com.

    EU Citizen rights under GDPR

    Application Fitness is a data controller that is committed to complying with GDPR.

    You have the right under certain circumstances:

    • To be provided with a copy of your personal data held by Application Fitness
    • To request the deletion of your personal data held by Application Fitness
    • To request that Application Fitness restrict the processing of your personal data
    • To object to the further processing of your personal data, including the right to object to marketing
    • To request that your provided personal data be moved to a third party

    Changes to the privacy policy

    Application Fitness reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If Application Fitness makes a material change to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
